FAQ

What do I need for registration?

  • Copy of your Birth Certificate.
  • Wallet Size Photo
  • Enrollment Form - 1601

Do I have to Sell Candy?

  • No! - you can OPT- OUT by paying an additional $15.00 at the time of registration.

What team will I be on?

  • We won’t know until we get everyone signed up, including coaches request will attempt to be honored.

What if I can’t afford to pay for registration?

  • We can help, just show up to sign-up’s.

What if we have bad refs, parents, coaches...etc.

  • Contact a board member so they can attempt to remedy the situation, do not take it upon yourself.. Call Us!

I don’t want to travel in order to play soccer.

  • U14 will always travel to in our district. U6 through U10 plays in Yreka only.    U12 changes on a yearly bases based primarily on number of available refs and parent feedback.

When are Sign-up’s?

Why is soccer so expensive, where does the money go?

  • Equipment, and uniforms, field paint                 2,000 per year
  • Candy Purchase                                                   4,000 per year
  • Referee                                                                  2,000 per year
  • Registration/Insurance and district fees.            5,000 per year
  • Coach Classes                                                        500 per year
  • Referee Classes                                                      100 per year
  • Tournaments                                                          1,000 per year
  • Awards, and Trophies                                         2,000 per year
  • TOTAL                                                                $16,600 per year.

 

  • We receive about $12,000 from Registration and then $4,000 from candy which is a total of 16,000 per year. The numbers vary per year, for example we spent about 6,000 in equipment last year alone (2007 Fall).
